cvb aff. Chiefly Brit. a semantically empty suffix that creates informal variations of nouns and adjectives:
champers; preggers; starkers[/ex]
Etymology: perh. a conflation of -er VII with the final element of bonkers and crackers (unless these words themselves contain this suffix); cf. -s III
